Henry A. Bellomy, 84, of Ashland, Ky., died Monday, Oct. 7, 2002, at his residence.
He was born Oct. 16, 1917, in Ashland, a son of the late Ben and Sarah May Bellomy.
He was also preceded in death by a son, Robert J. Bellomy.
He was a retired laborer with W.B. Fosson & Sons with 32 years of service. He was of the Baptist faith, was an avid fisherman, and was a member of Laborers Local Union #1445.
His survivors include his wife, Sarah Crawford Bellomy; a son, William Lee "Bill" Bellomy of Ashland; three daughters, Peggy Arthur of Ashland, Barbara Bryan of Portland, Ind., and Sharon Pope of Lexington, Ky.; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 10, 2002, in Golden Oaks Memorial Gardens by the Rev. Richard Suman.
There is no visitation.
Steen Funeral Home-Marshall Steen Chapel in Ashland is in charge of arrangements.
