Arnold Michael "Mike" Hickman, 48, of Ashland, Ky., died Tuesday, Nov. 19, 2002, at his residence.
Mr. Hickman was born June 26, 1954, in Ironton, Ohio, a son of Stella Lucille Skaggs Hickman of Ashland and the late Hugh Arnold Hickman.
He was also preceded in death by a brother, Robert Hickman.
He was a former truck driver for Cannon Express and a former driver for Yellow Cab Co. in Ashland. He was a member of Faith Independent Baptist Church.
Additional survivors include his wife, Ora Lee Sprague Hickman; six sons, Michael Hickman, Eugene Perkins, Charles Perkins, Terry Perkins, Jason Perkins and Timmy Perkins, all of Ashland; two daughters, Michelle Hickman Rice and Evelyn Perkins, both of Ashland; a brother, Paul Hickman of Ashland; four sisters, Sharon Stapleton, Beverly Gamble, Linda Gamble and Kimberly Hickman, all of Ashland; and 13 grandchildren.
The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Nov. 22, 2002, at Faith Independent Baptist Church, 4401 Route #3, Catlettsburg, Ky. 41129, by Tom Keelin. Burial will be in Oldfield Cemetery.
