Martha Estep 1921-2003 Martha Jackson Estep, 81 of Ironton, Oh. Formerly of Ashland,Ky. died Sunday, March 2, 2003, in Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital in Russell, Ky. Mrs. Estep was born April 15, 1921, in Elliott County, Ky. a daughter of the late Willie and Ferbia Wells Jackson. She was retired from AT&T with 20 years of service and was of the Christian Faith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Russell Vermont Estep; three sisters, Sara Jackson Young, Ruby Estep and Lula Parker; and a brother, Harry Clifford Jackson. Surviving include four sons, Raymond Estep of Ironton, Oh. Dave (Johnda) Estep of Ashland, Carl (Marsha) Estep of Knoxville, Tenn., and Harold (Susan) Esep of Keller, Texas; two brothers, Rev. Thomas (Sue) Jackson of Wurtland, Ky. and Billy R. (Carol) Jackson of Ashland, KY.; two sisters, Belva L. (Johnny) Jackson of Ashland and Roma (John) Vollmer of Mansfield, OH. seven grandchildren, Kelly Estep Gomez of Des Moines, Iowa, Julie Estep (Matt) Muetzel of Pataskala, Oh., Russell W. (Mickey) Estep of Blue Spring, Mo., Shane (Sherri) Estep of Phoenix, Arizona, Travis Estep of Titusville, Fl., and Staci and Shannon Estep of Knoxville, Tenn., and 15 great grandchilden, Tommy Jeanne, and Matt Gomez of Iowa, Breann and Curtis Nixon, Nick and Nina Muetzel of Ohio, Jake, Drew, and Zack Estep of Missouri, Samantha and Justine Estep of Arizona, Kylee and McKenzie St. Onge of Arizona, and William Estep of Virginia; and three former daughters-in-law, Marsha, Chellis and Rhonda. She will be reatly missed by her many nieces and nephews and other family members and friends. The funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, march 7, 2003 at Steen Funeral Home Marshall Steen Chapel in Ashland By the Rev. Thomas Jackson. Burial will be in Ashland Cemetery. Friends may call from 6 to 7 pm Thursday at the funeral home. A graveside service for family members only will follow the funeral service.
