Charlene Hickman Arthur, 88, of Ashland, Ky., died Friday, Dec. 6, in Wurtland Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Mrs. Arthur was born October 1, 1914 in Ashland, a daughter of the late Dennis and Stella Reynolds Hickman. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Edward F. Arthur, in 1973 and one sister, Madeline Horton.
She was a homemaker and member of Pollard Baptist Church.
Survivors include one son, Michael E. (Elizabeth) Arthur, and one grandson, Michael E. Arthur II, all of Pearl River, La.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, Dec. 9, at Steen Funeral Home-Ashland Chapel by the Rev. Tom Swartzwelder. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Burial Park.
Friends may call from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the chapel.
