George Woody

George Wayne Woody, 57, of Flatwoods died Friday, March 28, 2003, at Good Samariatn Hospital in Dayton, Ohio.
Mr. Woody was born Sept. 18, 1945, in London, the son of Mary Cottongin Woody and the late George Woody.
He was the husband of Sandra G. Carpenter Woody of Flatwoods, who survives.
He was vice president and division manager of Houchens Industry Save-A-Lot Division. He was a member of the Ashland Assembly of God.
He is also survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Robin and Shane Cox of Ashland and April and Mike Gibson of Dayton; one brother, Randy Woody of Tyler, Texas; and grandchildren Simeon and Silas Cox of Ashland and Courtney Gibson of Dayton.
Funeral will be 1 p.m. Monday, March 31, at Steen Funeral Home Marshall Steen Chapel, with Pastor Shane Cox and the Rev. Gene Huff officiating.
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
