Marie Gay

Marie Elizabeth Gay, 92, of Ashland, Ky., died Wednesday, May 28, 2003, in Jo Linn Nursing Home.
She was born Jan. 18, 1911, in Mt. Clemens, Mich., a daughter of the late John Milton and Elizabeth Campau Sonnenberg.
She was also preceded in death by a brother, Howard L. Sonnenberg; and a sister, Beatrice L. Utash.
She was a missionary for 54 years and was a member of Christian Fellowship Baptist Church in Mt. Clemens.
Surviving are two brothers, John H. Sonnenberg of Grand Island, Fla., and Robert L. Sonnenberg of Rosscommon, Mich.; and two sisters, Christine D. Zoraster of San Clemente, Calif., and Charlotte R. Lafferty of Mt. Clemens.
The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 31, 2003, at Steen Funeral Home-Ashland Chapel by the Rev. Tim Daniels. Burial will be in Coalton Cemetery.
