Margaret Wheeler
1928-2003
Margaret Jean Wheeler, 74, of Ashland, died Wednesday, May 28, in King's Daughters Medical Center.
Mrs. Wheeler was born Oct. 26, 1928, in Johnson County, a daughter of the late Hereford and Cova Salyers McKenzie. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Dallas Wheeler, in 2000; one son, Donald McKenzie; and one sister, Marie Stambaugh.
She was a homemaker and a member of Pentecostal Church of Christ in Sitka.
Surviving are two sons, Robert E. (Laura) Wheeler and Richard E. Wheeler, both of Ashland; one daughter, Joanna Lynn Wheeler of Ashland; one brother, Chester McKenzie of Columbus, Ohio; one sister, Jewell Stambaugh of Sitka; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, June 1, at the Steen Funeral Home-Ashland Chapel by the Rev. Harold F. Berrian Jr. Burial will be in the Rose Hill Burial Park.
