Gladys Sleet

Gladys W. Sleet, 91, of Ashland, Ky., died Sunday, June 1, 2003, in Kingsbrook Lifecare Center.
She was born July 30, 1911, in Ashland, a daughter of the late John Edward and Ella Eliza McGuire Williams.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Lyman E. Sleet, in 1965.
She was an employee of Kitchen Building and Insurance Agency and was a member of Central Baptist Church in Ashland.
Surviving are five sisters, Virginia Sweeney, Betty Gunderson, Mary Vanderpool, Evelyn Allen and Allene May, all of Ashland.
The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Steen Funeral Home-Ashland Chapel by the Rev. Joed Rice. Burial will be in Ashland Cemetery.
