Juanita Bush
1915-2003
Juanita Sloan Bush, 87, of Kenwood, Ky., died Sunday, May 25, 2003, at her residence.
She was born Dec. 22, 1915, in Ashland, Ky., a daughter of the late Henry and Nettie Rigsby Sloan.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Ernest A. Bush, in 1979.
A homemaker, she was a long-time member of First Church of the Nazarene in Ashland.
Surviving are two sons, Ernest E. Bush and Kenneth R. and Kay Bush, all of Ashland; five grandchildren, Michael Bush, Shari Moyer and John Bush, all of Ashland, Donald Bush of Winchester, Ky., and Dr. David Bush of Russell, Ky.; and six great-grandchildren, Logan Bush of Huntington, W.Va., Johnnie Bush and Kyle Bush, both of Ashland, David Bush and Rachael Bush, both of Russell, and Jon Brewer of Winchester.
The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, May 28, 2003, at Steen Funeral Home-Ashland Chapel in Ashland by the Rev. Jim Smedley and Don Houck. Burial will be in Ashland Cemetery.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 tonight, May 27, 2003, and one hour prior to the service Wednesday at the funeral home.
