Doris Stevens

Doris Corder Stevens, 93, of Albuquerque, N.M., formerly of Ashland, Ky., died Thursday, June 12, 2003, in Love Lace Medical Center in Albuquerque.
She was born June 21, 1909, in Terra Alta, W.Va., a daughter of the late Frank Loy and Nora Alice Sypolt Corder.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, William L. Stevens on Nov. 24, 1979; a son, Robert L. Taylor; and two sisters, Louise Elizabeth (Robert Lee) Oxley and Margaret Catherine Corder.
Surviving are three sons, Gene H. Taylor, Timothy G. (Erlinda) Taylor and David A. Taylor, all of Albuquerque; eight grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was a homemaker and was a member of Centenary United Methodist Church in Ashland.
The funeral will be at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 18, 2003, at Rose Hill Mausoleum by the Rev. Wayne Watts. Burial will be in Rose Hill Burial Park.
