Clifford Maddox
1921-2003
Clifford Maddox, 81, of Columbus, Ohio, formerly of Ashland, Ky., died Sunday, June 22, 2003, in Crown Point Health Care Center in Columbus.
He was born Aug. 24, 1921, in Elliott County, Ky., a son of the late Andrew Maddox and Mae Wells Maddox Frazier.
He was former owner of Maddox Glass Co. and was former operator of the Certified Station. He was a member of VFW and American Legion Post 76 of Ashland and was a U.S. Army Air Force veteran of World War II.
His survivors include his wife, Levona D. (Bonnie) Leadingham Maddox of Columbus; a daughter, Polly Sandra (Danny) Boyd of Columbus; a brother, Howard Frazier of Ashland; a grandson, Joe (Debbie) Boyd of Las Vegas, Nev.; and two great-grandchildren, Eli and Aiden Boyd, both of Las Vegas.
The funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, June 27, 2003, at Steen Funeral Home-Marshall Steen Chapel in Ashland by Joe Boyd, minister. Entombment will be in Rose Hill Mausoleum.
