He was born Aug. 9, 1953, in Ashland, Ky. He is survived by his wife, Florence Bean Hicks. A graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Golden Oaks Memorial Gardens. There is no visitation. Steen Funeral Home-Marshall Steen Chapel in Ashland is in charge of arrangements..
