Tim was a good guy, tough as nails. He stood out in a croud. Our football team and high school would have not be the same without him. I had not seen him since we graduated and regret that so. I really liked being around him. I can picture him with his shirt tucked up under his shoulder pads with his mid section exposed and his rebel flag dew rag that is the way he came to practice everyday. I can picture him driving the sled like he was running with it instead of chopping. I remember after practice during prayer half of us would pay attention and the other half wouldn't, I caught eye contact with Tim and he winked at me. I remember him laying black marks in his camaro as he left practice. When I was little I played for the Chargers and I remember we played the Raiders, My dad said to me that Erwin boy must lift weights, look how big he is. I will miss Tim Erwin #67. I am truly sorry for your loss.
Thank You,
Austin B. Kirk

I remember Tim when he played junior league football, through his years on the Boyd County High team. My son Daniel was a couple of years behind him and we watched Tim grow into a fine young man. We are so sorry for your loss and hope God's grace will comfort your family.

Even though we are not acquainted we wish to send our deepest sympathy for the loss of Timmy. Our daughter Lori, 17 years old, and her boyfriend Jason, arrived upon the accident scene prior to the appearance of the police and EMTs. She came home crying, wishing she could have done more to help. All she could do was talk to Mathew, (we assume that is his name) and stay with him until help arrived, then they were told they should leave. We have wondered how Mathew is doing since we have not heard anything. Please know we are praying for your family. We live on Daniels Fork, off Rt 5, our phone is 928-5528. Lori sends her prayers. The White Family

I would like to send my sympathy to Timmy's family. I was unable to make it to the viewing and I apologize. I was a friend of Timmy's when we were in school. God bless you all.
