Marie Miller

Marie Miller, 88, of Ashland, Ky., died Tuesday, Sept. 16, 2003, in Woodland Oaks Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Mrs. Miller was born May 30, 1915, in Fleming County, Ky., a daughter of the late Otto and Myrtle Martin Carpenter.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, George W. Miller, in 1976, and a daughter, Alice Eady.
A homemaker, she was also a Baptist.
Surviving are a daughter, Joan M. (John) Harrison of Ashland; a son-in-law, Doug Eady of Orlando, Fla.; four grandchildren, John Jr. (Sandy) Harrison, Jeffrey (Ellen) Harrison, Jennifer (Cres Royer) Harrison and Kelli (Carter) Young; and seven great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be held at 8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 19, 2003, at Steen Funeral Home-Ashland Chapel by the Rev. Dale Carden. Burial will be in Ashland Cemetery.
