I'm so sorry to hear of your loss but it was heaven's gain. In the short time I knew your family as a child the one thing that stood out so clearly was you cared about others. Now I pray you accept the care of others in this time of grief & find consolation in the fact it mattered that Mr. Hermansdorfer lived, that he made a difference. Though love remembers & grieves, his love rejoices for the moment when love will be shared in all it's purity. Where every mourning will be changed to joy. Never again to part. I'm not really sure what to say as so many years have passed since we last met so I wrote a poem in his honor & would like to share it. HOPE REALIZED One never knows when one they love will stand at the edge of life's river. Look beyond & see heaven's glory. Hear the call of a still, small whisper. Their spirits soar unrestrained by fleash. Carried aloft on angel's wings. Beholding the vastness of all creation. Of wonders man can only dream. He's simply gone away to prepare the home for those he must leave behind. Knowing his life mattered in the time he was allotted and in heaven there is no time. So the journey is but for a moment as he learns at Jesus' feet, That none of his own are ever lost from the Lord. In an eye's twinkling again they'll meet. In a world where justice is honored. In God's presence there is eternal life. Where death at last has lost it's sting & every tear will be dried. Sylvia McClelland-Morrison (Louie) Nov. 18, 2003 5:17 pm Again I'm sorry for your loss.

A HERMANSDORFER 3rd cousin to Kelly, John and Mark -- I would like to offer condolences at this time of your loss. As the HERMANSDORFER family genealogist, I offer free copies of the HERMANSDORFER family book to any and all who have the desire to familiarize yourselves with our family history. The loss of a family member can often be an appropriate time to reflect on our past and focus on our own mortality. "If your efforts are sometimes greeted with indifference, don't lose heart. The sun puts on a wonderful show at daybreak, yet most of the people in the audience go on sleeping."(Ada Teixeirea) Best Wishes. Tom and Becky THUMM and family

Pat and I certainly send our sympathy and condolances to Sally and to the "children". I've known Dave since Cammack Junior High, and a finer man never lived. We now live in Spokane, Washington, so have not seen Dave for a couple of years, but he will be missed and in our prayers.

Sally & Family, Judy and I offer our sympathy and prayers to you during this time of bereavement in the passing of Judge Hermansdorfer. Having had the pleasure of serving as his court reporter during his tenure as Federal Judge, made a huge and lasting impact upon my life. It was such a joy to visit with him just a few weeks ago and reminsce of the days we worked together in the courts. I will always cherish my fond memories of him. As a family, you are blessed to have such a loving and thoughtful husband, dad and grandfather with such outstanding character. He will surely be missed, but never forgotten.

For Sally -- Sally, so sorry to read about David's passing. You will not remember me but back in the 60s I worked for Diederich, Hermansforder & Wilson. I left to go to work with Ashland Oil in early 1974 and am still with them in northern Kentucky. David was always a "jolly" individual as well as brilliant in his profession.
