Frances Petry
1916-2003
Frances L. Petry, 87, of Woodhaven, Mich., formerly of Ashland, Ky., died Monday, Nov. 24, 2003, in Select Specialty Hospital in Wyandotte, Mich.
She was born Nov. 11, 1916, in Garrett, Ky., a daughter of the late Jacob and Goldie Bailey Petry.
She was a former employee of Mulias and Elias Department Store in Trenton, Mich., and was past worthy matron of Wheelwright Eastern Star.
Surviving are a sister, Lois Nemet of Riverview, Mich.; a niece, Sharon Kaye Hall of Woodhaven; and a great-niece, Jami Kaye (Donald) Antosiewicz of Grosse Ile, Mich.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Steen Funeral Home-Ashland Chapel on Central Avenue by the Rev. Don Young. Burial will be in Rose Hill Burial Park.
