Jeffrey Caskey

1962-2003

Jeffrey Tate Caskey, 42, of Ashland, died Monday, Dec. 8, at his residence.

Mr. Caskey was born April 7, 1962, in Ashland, a son of the late Wilburn and Dorothy Coonrod Caskey.

He managed the family business, was a member of the Titanic Historic Society, a graduate of Paul G. Blazer High School and Marshall University. He was local artist of the Hager School Prints.

Survivors include his brother, W. Pike and his wife Debbie Caskey of Williamstown, and aunts and uncles, Sandy and Bob Ball of Loudon, Tenn., and Almyra and Bus Lipker of Ashland.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 13, at the Steen Funeral Home Central Avenue Chapel by the Rev. Wayne Watts. Burial will be in the Rose Hill Mausoleum.

Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to the Humane Society, 1420 Johnson St., Ashland, Ky. 41101.

I'm so sorry to hear about Jeff. He was a good friend of mine in high school. I was stunned to learn from my grandmother that he died. I remember him with great fondness. Connelly

Dear Pike, Our prayers are with you. We are deeply saddened by Jeff's death, we just can't believe he is gone. We were just in Ashland 3 weeks ago, for Mark's father's funeral, and we tried to reach Jeff at that time, but were unable to reach him. If there is anything we can do, please let us know. We will be in Ashland for the holidays on December 21st.
