Helen "Grandmommie" Justice
1927-2004
Helen M. "Grandmommie" Justice, 76, of Ashland, Ky., died Monday, March 1, 2004, in Boyd Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
She was born June 5, 1927, in Boyd County, Ky.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John F. Justice, in 1987.
She was retired from the Ashland School System, was a member of Calvary Episcopal Church and Rebekah Lodge, was a Hospice volunteer for 16 years, was a Kentucky colonel and a Daughters of the King.
Surviving are two sons, Robert F. (Charlene) Justice of Port Richey, Fla., and Danny Gene (Kathy) Justice of Seville, Ga.; a daughter, Helen F. (Sam C. Jr.) Hall of Ashland; 12 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 3, 2004, at Steen Funeral Home-Central Avenue Chapel in Ashland by the Rev. Mann Valentine VI. Burial will be in Ashland Cemetery.
