What can anyone say to make this any easier? I grew up with Denise and was very close to her. Anita was my cheerleading sponsor, and together Dennie and Anita were the parents who were known to always have any number of kids over at their house. We would go swimming, watch tv, and spend the night. Dennie was different than most dads, and Denise knew that. With all the things girls do growing up, you always see a lot more moms than dads, but Dennie was always there too. Since Denise has been gone, my life has forever changed. My only comfort at this time, is knowing that Dennie and Denise will forever be together, and that's what he wanted. To Anita and Bryan-I love you both and have many great memories of growing up with your family. I promise, as long as I am alive, Dennie and Denise will always be remembered. Keri Finley

It is with my deepest sympathy and compassion toward your great loss of a fine man that i write this.
Dennie was a mechanic that while i worked at Safety Kleen i dealt with regularly. He was a good man, i do not say that lightly. Im so taken aback after reading tonights paper. I had no idea that he had passed.
Dennie also was a reference for my next job at Cintas. He gave me great reviews and helped me to launch my next career.
He in lamen's terms was a Fantastic Guy, and his loss is so sudden and so shocking.
I wish there were some way i could ease your grief. I wish you to know that he is not forgotten, in any way at all. If anything he is someone that the rest of us men can look to as an example, of what we wish we were, of what we wish we shall become.
Please accept my sympathy and regards,
and if there is anything, and those words, i know sound lame at this time, but even the most menial thing i could do to help would be a gigantic way to say Thanks to Dennie.

Dear Anita,
I was reading the ADI on-line and saw the news about Dennie. I am so terribly sorry. I will be praying for God to send you strength and courage as you face these difficult times. I can only imagine the pain you have had to endure in your short life. I will be unable to visit you at the funeral home. We have relocated to the Philadelphia area with Barry's job. I am so very sorry and will be thinking of you. My prayers are with you that God might comfort you and the rest of your family.
Sincerely, Terri A. Elswick

Anita and family, I just wanted to let you know how sorry I was to read of Dennys death. I did not know him but knew Anita in highschool and wanted you to know you are in my thoughts and prayers. I don't know anything about your lives together because I left Ashland long ago, but I admire the strong commitment Anita and Denny obviously had to their marriage and family. Cherish the time you did have together. Love Beth.
