Stephen S. Conley
1950-2004
Stephen S. Conley, 53, of Ashland, Ky., passed away on Sunday, March 21, 2004, at his home.
He was born Oct. 14, 1950, in Ashland. He was preceded in death by his parents, William H. and Georgene Russell Conley.
He was a retired supervisor of The Daily Independent mailroom.
Stephen was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and brother. There are no words to describe how he will be missed.
Surviving are his loving wife of 33 years, Patricia (McIntyre) Conley and three daughters, Stephanie (Tim) Beam of Ashland, Jody (Michael) Gerber of Greenup, Ky., and Stacey (Dusty) Menshouse of Ashland; and eight grandchildren, Dylan and Shelby Beam, Mackenzie, Devyn and Lil Stephen Gerber, and Micah, Mikala and baby Aston Menshouse.
He is also survived by one sister, Arlene (Ernie) Demeon of Huntington, W.Va.; and four brothers, William Conley Jr. of Ironton, Ohio, Mark (Sharon) Conley of Ashland and Brett Conley of Ashland, and Danny (Debbie) Conley of Ironton.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 24, 2004, with burial to follow at Ashland Cemetery Mausoleum.
Friends may call from 6 to 9 tonight, March 23, 2004, at Steen Funeral Home-Central Avenue Chapel in Ashland by Brother Joe Monett.
