Mary O. Young
1925-2004
Mary O. Young, age 78, of Satsuma, Fla., formerly of Ashland, Ky., died Friday, March 19, 2004, in North Florida Regional Medical Center.
She was born April 3, 1925, in Ashland, a daughter of the late Burns C. and Bertha I. Moore Ball.
A homemaker, she was a former member of Belmont Baptist Church and a member of First Baptist Church in San Mateo, Fla.
Surviving are her husband, Ernest E. Young of Satsuma; three sons, Ronald E. and Linda J. Young of Raceland, Ky., Larry K. and Glenda F. Young of Satsuma and Danny H. and Linda L. Young of Ashland; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 25, 2004, at Steen Funeral Home-Central Avenue Chapel in Ashland by the Rev. Curtis McComis. Burial will be in Golden Oaks Memorial Gardens.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
