C. Sue Hoenig, age 68, of Ashland, Ky., died Monday, April 26, 2004, in Woodland Oaks Health Care Facility.
She was born Feb. 24, 1936, in Ashland, a daughter of the late Clarence F. and Sallie Barber Hoenig.
She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Margaret Ann Stoehr and Irma Louise Hoenig.
She was a member of South Ashland United Methodist Church.
Survivors include a sister, Emily H. Baer and her husband, the Rev. Joel Baer, of Delaware, Ohio; three nieces, Amy Stevenson of Thousand Oaks, Calif., Bethany Poore of Westerville, Ohio, and Julie Peters of Las Vegas; two nephews, Robert Stoehr of Ashland and Jeffrey Poore of Tucson, Ariz.; and several grandnieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at Ashland Cemetery Mausoleum Chapel by the Rev. David Fultz and Dr. Joel Baer. Burial will be in Ashland Cemetery.
Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Steen Funeral Home-Central Avenue Chapel.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to South Ashland United Methodist Church, 2203 29th St., Ashland, Ky. 41101.
