Jo Anne Morrison Campbell "Mama Jo," age 72, of Ashland, Ky., departed this life on May 18, 2004, in St. Mary's Medical Center in Huntington, W.Va.
Mrs. Campbell was born June 3, 1931, in Ashland, a daughter of the late Ray and Arcie Marie Thompson Morrison.
She attended Old Orchard Church of Christ.
Her survivors include her husband, Van Roy Campbell; a daughter, Vickie Senters and son-in-law Steve of Ashland; a son, Tony Campbell of Lantana, Fla.; a brother, Robert Morrison and sister-in-law Joann of Ashland; a sister, Corrine Morrison Catron and brother-in-law Jim of Ravenswood, W.Va.; two grandchildren, Scott Campbell of Florida and Steven Senters of Lexington, Ky.; nephews Bruce Morrison and Jason Morrison of Ashland and James Michael Catron of Ravenswood; nieces Joy Catron Searls, Jamie Catron Chenoweth and Jill Weekley of Ravenswood; a great-nephew; and six great-nieces.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday, May 21, 2004, at Steen Funeral Home-Central Avenue Chapel in Ashland by Jim Catron. Burial will be in Ashland Cemetery.
