Bobby Gene Yonts Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1934 - 2004 Bobby Gene Yonts - 1934-2004 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Posted: 11/26/04 - 10:16:49 pm EST -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Bobby Gene Yonts, age 70, of Hazelwood Center in Louisville, Ky., died Wednesday, Nov. 24, 2004, in Audobon Hospice Center in Louisville. He was born Aug. 4, 1934, in McRobert, Ky., a son of the late Holly R. Yonts Sr. and Huldia Bartley Yonts. He was also preceded in death by five brothers and five sisters. He was a member of Meade Station Church of God. Surviving are a brother, Herbert H. Yonts Sr. of Ashland, Ky.; and five sisters, Peggy Ray Vopalensky of Lincoln, Neb., Shirley Yonts Maddox of Webbville, Ky., Ora Ann Yonts Whitt of Flatwoods, Ky., Rita Kay Yonts Cox of North Carolina and Bessie Marie Yonts of Hopkinsville, Ky. A private funeral service will be held today for family only at Steen Funeral Home-Central Avenue Chapel in Ashland by Pastor Ed McKinney and Pastor Rob Jordan. Burial will be in Rose Hill Burial Park. Private visitation for family only will be held today at the funeral home. Online condolences may be sent to steenfuneralhomes.com.
