Naomi Whitt Goble, 92, of Ashland, Ky., died Sunday, Dec. 19, 2004, in King's Daughters Medical Center.
She was born Oct. 23, 1912, in Corey, Ky., a daughter of the late Robert W. and Anna Dysard Whitt.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Jerry E. Goble in 1983; a son, John Emerson Goble; three brothers, Glen M. Whitt, William Ormond Whitt and Leonard Whitt.
A homemaker, she was a member of Centenary United Methodist Church in Ashland.
Surviving are two daughters, Willa Mae (Ted) Miller of Casa Grande, Ariz., and Cora Ann Marsh of Lexington, Ky.; a son, Thomas Allen (Judith A.) Goble Sr. of Flatwoods, Ky.; a sister, Nora Opal Browning of Tennessee; nine grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 22, 2004, at Steen Funeral Home-Central Avenue Chapel in Ashland by the Rev. Wayne Watts. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery-Damron Branch, Grayson, Ky.
