Mildred Darlene Vaughn, 69, of Ashland, Ky., died Wednesday, Jan. 5, 2005, in King's Daughters Medical Center.
She was born Oct. 14, 1935, in South Webster, Ohio, a daughter of the late John Fred and Lillie Fyffe Cantrell.
She was also preceded in death by three brothers, Robert E. Cantrell, James Austin Cantrell and Edison Cantrell; and two sisters, Joyce D. Owsley and Erma Lee Newkirk.
A homemaker, she was of the Baptist faith and was a lifetime member of the P.T.A.
Survivors include her husband, Charles C. Vaughn Jr. of Ashland; a daughter, Dr. Lisa D. Vaughn of Canton, Ohio; and a sister, Helen V. McKee of Ashland.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 7, 2005, at Steen Funeral Home-Central Avenue Chapel in Ashland by the Rev. Charles E. Stewart. Burial will be in Rose Hill Burial Park.
Friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 7, 2005 at the funeral home.
