Sally Josephine "Josie" Stephens, 42, of Ashland, died Monday, Dec. 27, in King's Daughters Medical Center.
She was born Sept. 24, 1962, in Boyd County.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Steen Funeral Home-Central Avenue Chapel in Ashland. Burial will be in Rose Hill Burial Park.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 tonight at the funeral home.

Sally Josephine ³Josie² Stephens, 42, of Ashland, Ky., beloved daughter, sister, aunt and friend, entered into eternal rest on Monday, Dec. 27, 2004, following a brief illness, surrounded by family and her pastor.
Josie was born Sept. 24, 1962, a daughter of Juanita Stephens and the late Ollie Stephens.
Other family members include a sister, Becky VanBibber; brother-in-law, Mark VanBibber; a niece whom she adored, Megan VanBibber; and nephew, Chris VanBibber, all of Ashland; aunt, Corra Powell; and cousins, Anna Lee (Stephen), Don Robinson, Jay Robinson, Nathan, Jason, Ami, Jessie and Clayton Robinson, all of Lexington, Ky.; and two very special lifelong friends, Sherry Neely and Cookie Hall.
Josie was a member of Central Baptist Church and a 1980 graduate of Paul G. Blazer High School.
She attended Ashland Community College and Southern Ohio University. She had an associate¹s degree in communications and worked at the Christian station, WTSF, when it first opened.
She was also a secretary for attorney Jim Prichard and was currently employed at Cingular Wireless and was an Avon representative.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. today, Dec. 29, 2004, at Steen Funeral Home-Central Avenue Chapel in Ashland by the Rev. Joed Rice. Visitation was Tuesday, Dec. 28, 2004, from 6 to 8 p.m.
Serving as pallbearers will be Mark VanBibber, Chris VanBibber, Jay Robinson, Don Robinson, Nathan Robinson, Markie Hall, Shannon Hall and Wayne Roberts (Bubba Wayne). Honorary pallbearers will be Chuck Griggs, George Ferguson and Mark Hall.
