Mabel McCormick Felty, 85, of Ashland, died Saturday, Dec. 21, in Woodland Oaks Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
She was born Dec. 18, 1917, in Ironton, Ohio, a daughter of the late Ellis and Mayme Fosson McCormick.
Mrs. Felty also was preceded in death by her husband, Orville Davis Felty Jr. in 1990, and two sisters, Marie Louise Stanord and Marguerite McCormick Wileman.
She was a homemaker and a member of Unity Baptist Church in Ashland and Gray Lady, Altman Hospital, Canton, Ohio.
She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Orville (Jack) and JaMae Felty of Marietta, Ga.; one daughter, Patricia Felty Timberlake of Columbus, Ohio; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Graveside services were at 11 a.m. today at the Ashland Cemetery Mausoleum by the Rev. Benny Clark.
Marshall-Steen Funeral Home in Ashland is in charge of arrangments.
