Dora Mae Shearer, age 70, of Cannonsburg, Ky., died Monday, Jan. 31, 2005, at her residence.
She was born Dec. 3, 1934, in Clarksburg, W.Va., a daughter of the late Alonzo and Cindy Fury McCullough.
A homemaker, she was a member of First Baptist Church of Cannonsburg, where she was a former Sunday School teacher.
Surviving are her husband, Edward L. Shearer of Cannonsburg; a son, Edward T. (Laura Sue) Shearer of Greenup County, Ky.; a brother, Alonzo L. (Jo) McCullough of Clarksburg; and three grandchildren, Rachel Elizabeth, Dylan Dawson and Chandler Carson.
The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Steen Funeral Home-Marshall Steen Chapel in Ashland, Ky., by the Rev. Stan Williams. Entombment will be in Rose Hill Burial Park Mausoleum.
Friends may call from 6 to 9 tonight at the funeral home.
