Jesse H. Taul, 80, of Ashland, Ky., died Saturday, Feb. 12, 2005, in the Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland.
Mr. Taul was born Feb. 14, 1924, in Mount Sterling, Ky., a son of the late Henry Taul and Gertrude Wilson Taul Jones.
He retired from Electrical Maintenance with Armco Steel and was a member of Johnson Memorial Christian Methodist Episcopal Church in Ashland.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, David B. Taul, Harold Jones and Paul Taul; and one sister, Della Franklin.
His survivors include his wife, Dorothy Owens Taul of Ashland; four daughters, Pamela and her husband, Eric Patterson, of Omaha, Neb., Desiree and her husband, William Price, of Columbus, Ohio, Jessica Taul of Oakland, Calif., and L'Tanya Taul of Columbus; one sister, Ida Johnson of Fayeteville, N.C.; and six grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 15, 2005, at Steen Funeral Home-Central Avenue Chapel in Ashland with The Rev. James I. Buford officiating. Burial will follow in Ashland Cemetery.
Visitation is from noon to 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
