Patricia Lou Fahrson Evans, 78, of Ashland, Ky., died Saturday, Feb. 12, 2005, in the Hospice Care Center after a brief illness.
Mrs. Evans was born Nov. 16, 1926, in Ashland, the daughter of the late Frank Jesse and Media Fahrson.
She was a homemaker and a member of First United Methodist Church and the Decorative Artists Society.
Her husband, John R. "Dick" Evans of Ashland, survives.
Other survivors include a daughter, Terry Evans Ransdell of San Antonio, Texas; a grandchild, Kelli Golobek of San Antonio; two great-grandchildren, Bailey and Cole Golobek of San Antonio; and a special niece, Judy Riggsby.
Funeral services will be conducted at 3 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 15, 2005, at Steen Funeral Home-Central Avenue Chapel in Ashland with The Rev. Dale Carden officiating. Burial will follow in the Ashland Cemetery.
Visitation is from 2 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.
