Wanda L. Wilson, 82, of Ashland, Ky., died Sunday, Feb. 27, 2005, in Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital.
She was born Feb. 9, 1923, a daughter of the late Virgil Jay and Nillie Simpson Wilson Wheeler.
The Ashland native was a homemaker and a member of Rose Hill Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Dare Roberson.
Surviving are two brothers, Harry Wilson and his wife, Wilma, of Ashland, and Tommy Wheeler and his wife, Terri, of Midlothian, Texas; two sisters, Bessie Roberson of Ashland and Nancy and her husband, Charles Leech, of Louisville, Ky.; several nieces and nephews; several great-nieces and great-nephews; and one great-great-niece.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 3, 2005, at Steen Funeral Home-Central Avenue Chapel in Ashland by Dr. Ronnie Mayes and the Rev. Charles E. Stewart. Burial will be in Rose Hill Burial Park.
