Marie Fosson Kibbey, 88, of Ashland, died Monday, Dec. 23, 2002, in Wurtland Manor Nursing Home.
Mrs. Kibbey was born June 6, 1914, in Russell, Ky., the daughter of the late Charlie and Nellie Barber Fosson. She was also preceded in death by her husband, William C. Kibbey.
She was a graduate of Russell High School and was a member of First Baptist Church in Ashland. She was a former employee of the Kentucky Power Company in the accounting department.
She is survived by a son, Charles W. and his wife Luana S. Thomas of Melbourne, Fla.; two brothers, Roy H. Fosson of Daytona Beach, Fla., and Kenneth Fosson of Ashland; two sisters, Ruby Pevato of Canyon Lake, Texas, and Ruth Daniels of Russell; three grandhildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday in the mausoleum at Ashland Cemetery by the Rev. Marvin Warner. Arrangements are under the direction of Steen Funeral Homes.
There is no visitation.
