Kathy and Family no words can express how sorry I am to hear of Mack's passing. But what I do know is that Mack was a very unassuming and gentle man. I will miss talking to him and visting with him when I came to Ashland. I know it will be hard on all but especailly Effie. She has lost her best friend. My thoughts and prayers go out to you all. Love Kim Shanks Cleves, Ohio

Chuck and Kathy, You are both in my prayers and in my heart always. The loss of a parent, no matter their age, is always difficult. The greatest tribute to any person is the children they raise. This makes your father a great person because the two of you are stellar examples of what anyone would want their children to turn out to be. I love you both and I hope to see you soon. Warmest regards, Carolyn Payne Lexington, KY

Kathy & Chuck: We graduated together in 1977. I lost my Dad in 1995 so I know what you are going through. He was also at Steen's so I know they are taking good care of you. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
