Curtis Howard Frazier, 79, of Ashland, Ky., died Monday, March 28, 2005, in King's Daughters Medical Center.
He was born Jan. 11, 1926, in Elliott County, Ky., a son of the late George and Mae Wells Frazier.
He was also preceded in death by his wife, Edna Lou Charles Frazier in 2003; two brothers, Homer and Ed Frazier; and a half sister, Faye Porter.
He was retired from Castle Showcase, was a World War II Army veteran and a member of the National Guard. He was also a member of Centenary United Methodist Church, past president of Local Carpenters Union No. 472 and was a self-taught musician.
Surviving are a sister-in-law, Effie Mae Charles of Ashland; a niece, Kathy Charles Hampton of Catlettsburg, Ky.; a nephew, Chuck Charles of Ashland; many other nieces and nephews; and seven half brothers, John, George, Kenneth, Tom, Otis and Earl Frazier and Clifford Maddox.
The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Steen Funeral Home-Central Avenue Chapel in Ashland by the Rev. Wayne Watts. Burial will be in Golden Oaks Memorial Gardens.
Friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
