Oliver J. Zandona, 83, of Fort Myers, Fla., died Saturday, April 2, 2005, in Fort Myers Care Center in Fort Myers following a brief illness.

Mr. Zandona was born in Freeport, Pa., a son of the late Massimo and Cornelia Zandona.

He was also preceded in death by his wife, Erma Zandona.

He was a retired executive vice president with Ashland Oil Inc., where he worked for 40 years.

He was a member of Holy Family Church, and an active member of The Landing and Bellefonte Country Club, where he enjoyed golf and bridge groups.

Surviving are his wife, Angeline Munn Zandona of Fort Myers; four daughters, Sandra Bowers and her husband, John of Singapore, Karen McCracken and her husband, Don of Midland, Texas, and Marcia Sanders and her husband, Jack, and Kathy Zandona, both of Louisville, Ky.; a son, Oliver D. Zandona and his wife, Paulette of McLean, Va.; two sisters, Pearl Klinzing of Freeport, and Almeda Golembeski of Pittsburgh; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

A Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, April 7, 2005, at Holy Family Church by Father Thomas Klinzing. Burial will be in Rose Hill Burial Park Mausoleum.

Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, April 6, 2005, at Steen Funeral Home-Marshall Steen Chapel in Ashland.

In lieu of flowers, friends may make contributions to Community Hospice, 1538 Central Ave., Ashland, Ky.
