Susan Ferguson McClain (1916-2005)

Susan Ferguson McClain, 88, of Grayson, Ky., formerly of Ashland, Ky., went home to be with the Lord at the home of her special nephew, Gary McClain and his wife, Tena, where she and her husband had made their earthly home, on April 7, 2005.
Mrs. McClain was born June 16, 1916, in Dingus, Ky., a daughter of the late Robert H. and Nancy Elizabeth Hamilton Ferguson.
She was also preceded in death by one brother and three sisters.
She was a retired secretary from the First Presbyterian Church in Ashland, was a member of Russell Christian Church and was a former member of the Ashland Lioness Club and Order of Eastern Star.
Surviving are her husband, Wallace F. McClain of Grayson; several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Steen Funeral Home-Central Avenue Chapel in Ashland by the Rev. Mark McKinney and the Rev. Tim Ratliff. Burial will be in Rose Hill Burial Park.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 tonight at the funeral home.
