I am sorry for the loss of your loved one. Please accept my dearest condolences. At times like this, I always reflect on the comfort and hope found in the bible. It is comforting to know that God is there for us when we are saddened and hurt. Psalm 34:18 tells us that he is '...near to those broken at heart and those crushed in spirit he saves'. He promises one day that '..he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away'. I look forward to the day when death will be no more and we will no longer experience the pain and suffering that it brings. Until that time, I encourage you to put hope in the thought at John 5:28,29. It tells that there will be a resurrection. This will gives us the oppurtunity to be reunited with our dead loved ones. I truly believe this because Hebrews 6:18 tells us '..it is imppossible for God to lie'. Please review these scriptures in your own copy of the bible. May they bring you the same comfort and hope that I have.
