Jack William Crisp, age 74, of Catlettsburg, Ky., died Wednesday, June 8, 2005, at his residence following an extended illness.
Mr. Crisp was born Sept. 2, 1930, in Omar, W.Va., a son of the late James A. and Nellie Jarrell Crisp.
He was a self-employed flight instructor and was a member of Church of Christ.
Surviving are his wife, Glenna Ratliff Crisp of Catlettsburg; three sons, James Jackson Crisp (Robin) of South Dakota, Glen Crisp of Langsville, Ohio, and Tom Crisp (Mary) of Catlettsburg; a daughter, Carla (James) Large of Flatwoods, Ky.; a sister, Dora Beatrice Meadows of Marion, Ohio; grandchildren, Tina Renae Crisp, James Jackson Crisp II, Danny Crisp, Justin Crisp, Rhiannon Blizzard, Ryan Scott Crisp, Shaun Allen Crisp, Heather Michelle Leamon, Bethany Diane Crisp, Stephen Thomas Crisp, Tabitha Daniela Wallace and Cynthia Ann Christy; and great-grandchildren, Audrey Breanne Wallace, Madelyn Mackenzie Wallace, Raegan Elisabeth Wallace, Nicolette Leamon, Tyler Foster, Tsion Ford, Brashton Crisp, Semie Joe Crisp, James Jackson Crisp III, Cayden Blizzard and Kayden Eli Crisp.
The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, June 10, 2005, at Steen Funeral Home-Marshall Steen Chapel in Ashland by Preacher John Brown. Burial will be in Golden Oaks Memorial Gardens.
