Teresa K. Miller Sperry, 41, of Westwood, Ky., died Sunday, June 12, 2005, at her residence after a lengthy illness.
She was born Sept. 10, 1963, in Ashland, Ky., a daughter of David McComas of Prichard, W.Va., and Carolyn Boggs (Bob) Caudill of Westwood.
Her brother, Charles Michael Miller; maternal grandparents, Lillian and Elisha Boggs; and paternal grandparents, Nellie and Herbert McComas, all preceded her in death.
She was a welder of 10 years with AC Construction with Ashland Oil; was a member for many years of Pipefitters Local Union 248, the Heritage Temple, and served on the State Welding Board of Kentucky.
Surviving are her parents; adopted sister, Lisa K. Jackson of Ashland; and stepgrandmother, Verna Caudill of Westwood.
She is also survived by her beloved dog, Gizmo; aunt, Billie Fosson of Ashland; cousins, Greg and Missy Fosson of Ashland; special cousins, Kristin and Michael Fosson of Ashland; and numerous longtime friends and church family.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Thursday, June 16, at Heritage Temple with Dr. Tim York officiating.
Visitation is from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Steen Funeral Home-Marshall Steen Chapel in Ashland. She will lie in state from noon until the service time at the church.
