Please accept my condolences. The loss of a loved one is truly a hard time. At such times, I have learned to rely heavily on the promises found in God's word the bible. I have found comfort in knowing that God truly cares for bereaved ones.2Corinthians 1:2,3 helps us to appreciate that he is the Father of tender mercies and of all comfort, who comforts in all our tribulations. He never intended for mankind to suffer from sickness and death. He provides us with a promise at Job 33:25 which states 'Let his flesh become fresher than in youth. Let him return to the days of his youthful vigor'. He will one day restore us to the perfect state in which he created us.Please know that this will be accomplished by means of God's kingdom which is mentioned at Daniel 2:44, which states, '. . .God will set up a kingdom that will never be brought to ruin. . . . and it itself will staind to times indefinite.' You can be confident that this will occur because Heb. 6:18 lets us know that it is impossible for God to lie.Until that time, I encourage you to put hope in the thought at John 5:28,29. It tells that there will be a resurrection. This will gives us the oppurtunity to be reunited with our dead loved ones. May these words bring you comfort & hope.
