Please accept my sympathy. I know your are experiencing a difficult time. I have some encouraging thoughts to share with you from the bible. It is important that you realize God truly cares for you and wants you to look to him for comfort. 2Corinthians 1:2,3 helps us to appreciate that he is the Father of tender mercies and of all comfort, who comforts in all our tribulations. When his son, Jesus, walked the earth he pointed towards a resurrection. At John 11:25 he stated 'I am the resurrection and the life. He that exercises faith in me,even though he dies, will come to life'. This resurrection gives us the hope of being reunited with our loved ones. I eagerly await the time when the 'enemy death with be brought to nothing' (1 Corinthian 15:25,26)I have confidence in all of the above because Titus 1:2 tells us that God can not lie. May these thoughts bring you comfort and hope.
