Margaret Jane Litteral Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1918 - 2005 Margaret Jane Litteral (1918-2005) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Posted: 07/23/05 - 09:52:03 pm EDT -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Margaret Jane Litteral, 87, of Ashland, Ky., died Saturday, July 23, 2005, in Woodland Oaks Health Care Facility in Ashland. Mrs. Litteral was born June 20, 1918, in Ashland, a daughter of the late Henry and Myrtle Moorfield Steward. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles William Litteral, in 1995. She was a retired dietitian at King's Daughters Medical Center in Ashland and was a member of South Ashland United Methodist Church. Surviving are two sons, John Litteral of Ashland and Charles W. Litteral and his wife, Theresa, of Richmond, Ky.; a sister-in-law, Margie Stewart of Ashland; three grandchildren, Charles W. Litteral III of Richmond and Rhonda Lewis and Debbie Schweitzer, both of Lexington, Ky.; and a great-granddaughter, Rowan August Litteral of California. Graveside services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday at Ashland Cemetery Mausoleum Chapel by the Rev. Lance Campbell. There will be no public visitation. Steen Funeral Home-Central Avenue Chapel in Ashland is in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Community Hospice, 1538 Central Ave., Ashland, KY 41101. Hello, My name is Christine Prashker,my maiden name is Stewart. I am the Grand Daughter of the late Ernest and Leoda Darby Stewart.Margaret Litteral was my great great Aunt. My Uncle, Jack Stewart informed my Husband and I of her death. My father the late Bobbie Gene Stewart, left Kentucky, many years ago,for the Boston area which is where my Husband and I live, so we had no contact with the Stewart family. Margaret was the last member of my Father and Uncle's family to pass away, so my Husband and I would like to send our condolences to the Litteral family.
