Ethel J. Blair, 68, of Ashland, Ky., died Friday, July 29, 2005, in King's Daughters Medical Center in Ashland.

She was born March 15, 1937, in Ashland, a daughter of the late Wordie Britton and Tressie Hunley Blair.

She was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith.

Preceding her in death were three sisters, Betty Jo Baker, Lilly Mae Blair and Bethel Irene Blair, and a brother, James Edward Blair.

Surviving are four sons, James David Robinson (Regina) of Flatwoods, Ky., Charles Randall Robinson of Florida, Brian Scott Blair (Colleen) of Catlettsburg, Ky., and Donald Keith Robinson of Knightdale, N.C.; two brothers, Gerald David Blair (Donna) and Wordie Britton Blair Jr. (Kim); six sisters, Millateen Davis (Bobby), Linda Sue Clevenger (Hugh), Mary Lou Bowling (Darrell), Connie Fay Chaney, Brenda Jane Phillips (Ben) and Theresa Gail Frasure (Bruce); five grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

A graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Monday, Aug. 1, 2005, at Golden Oaks Memorial Gardens in Ashland by Pastor Randy Skaggs.

There is no visitation.

Steen Funeral Home-Central Avenue Chapel in Ashland is in charge of arrangements.
