My wife was friends with Jamie. They spend a year together as residents at Northwestern. She was extremely intelligent, very pretty and nice, but also had a terrific sense of humor. There is nothing about her that won't be terribly missed. I feel lucky to have known her.

I first met Jaime through my sister (Jenny Fosson Bates). Jenny and Jaime were the same age, and in most of the same classes in the Russell School system. I was pleasantly surprised when I met up with Jaime, many years later at Northwestern. I did my residency at Northwestern Hospital, and we ran into each other on a rotation there. I was thrilled that Jaime was in Chicago too! Jaime was one of the sweetest people that I have ever known, and she was adored and admired by her colleagues, patients, and her friends. She was unique in that she was not only a wonderful physician, but she was a wonderful person. I will miss her, and I am thankful to have known her, both in Ashland, and in Chicago. Your family is in my thoughts and prayers.

Words can not express our feelings for you as you work through the loss of Jaime. We pray for you often that God will grant you an extra dose of strength and grace. Our hope is that God's peace will replace the pain over time. Let us know if we can do anything to help you in any way. May God comfort you as only he can.

My sincerest condolences to the Kim family for the loss of their daughter Jaime. While Jaime and I were merely acquaintances, I'm truly saddened by the loss of another brilliant mind and compassionate human being - particularly in this day and age, when such traits are so desperately needed.
God bless,

I always knew that she would achieve whatever goal she had set for herself. I know that she will only continue in a different light now. May God comfort you in your grief.

Please allow me to express my condolences for your loss. Though I had not spoken to Jaime in over 13 yrs I remeber her well and will miss her. Many of my high school memories involve Jaime from our competing on the speech team in middle school, academic team and student government. Jaime was a blessing to all who knew her and she enriched each of our lives. May God bless and keep you during this time.
