She was born Sept. 1, 1925, in Virginia. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Steen Funeral Home-Central Avenue Chapel in Ashland. Burial will be in Golden Oaks Memorial Gardens. Friends may call an hour before the service at the funeral home. Online condolences may be sent to steenfuneralhomes.com.

I was so sorry to hear about the loss of the family's Mother and Grandmother. We were friends for years and she will always live on in our hearts. She is in Heaven where she will suffer no more. I love all of you.
