Sue Dotson Miller, 72, of Ashland, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, Nov. 26, after a brief illness in King's Daughters Medical Center in Ashland.

Mrs. Miller was born June 17, 1933, in Pike County, Ky., a daughter of the late Greeley and Edna Harrison Dotson.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Jackie Hutson, formerly of Springfield, Ohio.

She is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Rollie Miller, and by her devoted children: sons William J. Miller and his wife, Debbie, of Catlettsburg, Ky., and Anthony W. Miller of Ashland; and daughters Roseanna Huffman and her husband, Richard, of Grayson, Ky., and Wanda Bolt and her husband, Michael, of Catlettsburg.

Other survivors include a brother, Hubert Dotson of Detroit, Mich.; sisters Bernice Myers-Dearborn of Heights, Mich., and Mattie Stambaugh of Ashland; grandchildren Heather Justice, Jason Bays and his wife, Connie, Ricky Huffman, Sarah Bolt, James Miller, Melissa McCall and her husband, Sean, and Wayne Miller; a stepgrandchild, Angela Adams; great-grandchildren Madison and Josh Bolt, Devon Justice, Lakin Justice and Jacob Bays; and two great-stepgrandchildren, Blake and Miranda Adams.

Mrs. Miller was a member of Summit Missionary Baptist Church. She was a homemaker and devoted her life to her family and home.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 29, at Steen Funeral Home-Marshall Steen Chapel in Ashland by Pastor Kevin Meenach. Burial will be in Golden Oaks Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
