Sudie,I just found out about Opal. I am so sorry for your loss as I know that she was much closer to you than a grandmother. Just take comfort in knowing that she is with the Lord and also that you gave her so much help and comfort in her last years.I will always remember her cute little voice when she called the office and asked if "Sudie" was there! I will be praying for you as I know the loss is felt especially profound around the holidays. Love Lynne

I am both happy and sad to hear of Opal's passing. She seemed so ready to meet the Lord when I talked to her on our birthday this past year. I know her grandchildren and her great grandchildren will miss her very much. Opal had a wonderful zest for life. She inspired me to be more of an optimist about life. She always wanted to validate the importance of other people. She made a "from scratch" birtday cake for me every year that we lived in Ashland. She was a wonderful cook and homemaker. I will remember what a great lady she was as long as I have memory. I am sure she is talking to the Lord on our behalf at this very minute.
