My first memory of Cathy was at Southside Pool when she and I were both in high school. She was one of the most beautiful girls I'd ever seen. I had no idea that years later, my brother would marry her sister. I will always remember Cathy as I first saw her and will morn her early passing for years to come. We should never take our relationships lightly, but should always tell the people we care about how much we love them whenever we have the opportunity because we never know when we will be called home. To all those who loved Cathy, I offer my prayers and my sincere condolences.

My dearest Sasha,Brittany and Daniel. I am so sorry I couldn't be there with you. But in my heart I was. I will never forget my cousin Cathy. She was so special to me, and to all of us here in California. When we come to Ashland it will never be the same again without her. I am so glad we got to spend time with you all on our last visit. Know that I LOVE you and will pray for you. Cathy is with Mamaw now and thay are smiling down and will look over you now and forever.

Please know that God love you all and will protect you and give you strength. Brittany please call me if you need someone to talk to now 325-1905. I really do believe in expressing one's self through art therapy and music and dance. I know that your dear Mother is in heaven surrounded by a band and chorus of angels. I love you all.

Jenny and Ralph,
I am so very sorry to hear about Cathy. I was in Ashland for the holidays when I heard. I can't imagine the grief you are feeling. I ran into Cathy at FoodFair during one of my recent visits.I would like her children to know that she was so proud of them. That is all she talked about during our long conversation. I know my sister Kim has been keeping in touch with you through your doctor visits with Jason. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

To the family, we are praying for you to be surrounded with God's peace. (Is. 26:3) I am the worship leader at Spirit of Victory Ministries, and although my relationship with Cathy has been limited, it's been a pleasure. One thing I know about her is that she is in the presence of the Lord right now! She was PASSIONATE about God and growing closer to Him.
A little funny thing- the first time I met her she looked at me and said, "Oh, you look younger in person than on TV." I said, "I HOPE so! Ha! I'm only 25!"
Don't ever forget Isaiah 53- that SURELY Jesus bore our griefs and carried our sorrows. Allow Him to fill you with His amazing peace.
Love,
Cindy Stowers

We are so sorry to hear about Cathy. We both went to Paul Blazer with her. She and I would always stand in the aisle and talk an hour when we would run across each other. She is so beautiful and so sweet.
We are so sorry ,and read her obituary with great sadness.
