Bessie Marie Yonts Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1931 - 2005 Bessie Marie Yonts (1931-2005) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Posted: 12/30/05 - 12:37:53 am EST -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Bessie Marie Yonts, 74, of Hopkinsville, Ky., formerly of Ashland, died Dec. 28, 2005, in the Western State Nursing Facility. She was born Sept. 25, 1931, in McRobert, Ky., a daughter of the late Holly R. Yonts Sr. and Huldia Bartley Yonts. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by six brothers and five sisters. She was a member of the Meade Station Church of God. Surviving are a brother, Herbert H. Yonts Sr. of Ashland, Ky.; and four sisters, Peggy Ray Vopalensky of Lincoln, Neb., Shirley Yonts Maddox of Webbville, Ky., Ora Ann Yonts Whitt of Flatwoods, Ky., and Rita Kay Yonts Cox of North Carolina. There will be a private service on Saturday at Steen Funeral Home-Central Avenue Chapel in Ashland. Online condolences may be sent to steenfuneralhomes.com.
